TelepsychHealth is looking for a personable, energetic, self-motivated licensed psychologist who is interested in joining a private practice to provide telepsychiatric services to individuals in Texas, New York, California, Florida, and potentially more states. This is a fully virtual role, with the option to also see patients in person in Jacksonville, FL if you so desire.
This is an employed W2 position with benefits. You would have the support of intake, benefit verification, insurance credentialing, billing, scheduling, and authorizations, and you would work closely with a team consisting of a psychiatrist, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and professional counselors.
About the role
- To start, expect aboutundefinedhours of appointments per week for the firstundefinedweeks. As your census grows, the expectation is roughlyundefinedhours per week after aboutundefinedweeks.
- Patients see you from their homes, not from a clinic or hospital.
- The average patient age is around 20–45, ranging fromundefinedto 65.
- Our EHR is ChARM: easy to use, reliable, and web-based, with an all-in-one patient portal and scheduling.
- New patient and follow-up appointments are 50–55 minutes.
- Pay is based on face-to-face time with patients.
- Interest in running group therapy is a plus.

Responsibilities
- Carry out psychotherapy services in accordance with state and national regulations.
- Maintain the schedule of all your active clients.
- Complete timely appointment notes that comply with insurance contracts.
- Operate and troubleshoot your own technology (computer, software, EHR).
- Collaborate with the other providers of the practice.
Requirements
- A PhD (or PsyD) and an independent, unrestricted license in California, New York, or Texas, with at leastundefinedyear of experience in the field.
- Hold a current license in New York, Texas, Florida, Illinois, or California with a clean license history.
- Character: someone who loves interacting with people, is collaborative with teams, exceptionally organized, ambitious about growth, articulate, attentive to detail, and comfortable with complexity.
- Own a computer with a camera, subscribe to high-speed internet, and have a private, well-lit office to see patients.
- Able to work at leastundefinedhours per week.
- Willing to consent to a background check.
- An NPI and an attested CAQH profile (register at nppes.cms.hhs.gov and proview.caqh.org), which are required for credentialing with insurance companies.
- Must not currently be under contract or bound by a non-compete with your current employer.
- Must live in the U.S.
