We are not currently enrolled with the Medicaid managed care plans that many New Yorkers are assigned to instead, so if you receive your Medicaid benefits through a managed care plan we won't be able to bill it today. What's the difference between straight Medicaid and Medicaid managed care?

Straight Medicaid, also called fee-for-service, is billed directly to New York State and you carry the plain New York State Benefit Identification Card. Medicaid managed care means the State pays a private health plan to administer your benefits, and you carry that plan's card instead. We accept straight New York Medicaid. Can I use New York Medicaid for a telehealth psychiatrist anywhere in the state?

Yes. New York Medicaid covers telehealth mental health services, and because every visit is by secure video you can be seen from New York City and the five boroughs, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Albany, or any rural county. You only need to be physically located in New York during your appointment.

How much does a visit cost with New York Medicaid?

We bill New York Medicaid directly for covered visits. We confirm your eligibility and what your coverage includes before your first appointment, so you know what to expect before you start care rather than after.

Can you prescribe medication if I'm on New York Medicaid?

Yes. Our providers are licensed to prescribe in New York and send prescriptions electronically to your local pharmacy. Controlled medications, including stimulants for ADHD, are prescribed when clinically appropriate and in accordance with state and federal regulations.

How soon can I be seen?
